Carried on compiling those who died in Maros Maru using KEW Document WO 361/1734 and Commonwealth War Graves Commission web site as the Kew list only has surname, initials and date of death, the Netherland entries are being search for in FindMyPast. Compiling within a spreadsheet.
After three days work I am just about a third of the way through it but it will be more detailed when completed. Then I will convert my spreadsheet into a database and after designing the site will use Netfusion to write the web pages. All the 372 deaths will have a page within the Roll of Honour in the Hell Ship section.
Files uploaded to OneDrive:-

Added information supplied by Tony Banham:-
Unfortunately we have not yet been able to find any official nominal rolls of the HKSRA POWs in Hong Kong. However, I can confirm that your late father is listed in Appendix 7 of Charles Barman’s book ‘Resist to the End’ in the list entitled ‘Nominal Roll of Indian Prisoners of 1st HKSRA Regiment at North Point Camp as of 21 March 1942’. Barman was a Battery Quarter Master Sergeant in the regiment.

My blood level sometimes runs high and I received an email today which did just that. How am I supposed to know someone receives an MBE later in life ?
No thank you for writing the pages in my own time, he got a short, sharp reply for telling me to ‘rectify my mistake’.
Added a page for George Clifford Alden into the Roll of Honour, ‘Site Memorial’ section. For Jan Turner, a school friend, we never knew our dads were together on the Thailand-Burma Railway, as our dads never talked about it, we didn’t either.
