Killed In Action
Far East WWII
8th December 1941 - 1st January 1947
In honour of those who gave their lives for our freedom
‘Killed in Action - Far East WWII’ starts when the Japanese entered the war on 8th December 1941 by attacking Malaya and Singapore, then after capture, the deaths as PoWs. I have also included the deaths caused by their ordeal after Liberation and Repatriation up to 1st January 1947.
The India Regiments are those who fought back the Japanese attack through Burma to attack India.
