Known as “Java 15”
This small party was from Java Party 15 and were included in the first ‘D’ Force train. All seven Java Party 15 Men were medical officers.
All Seven Officers proceeded overland with a Party from Changi.
So it can be understood they came to Thailand with the party in ‘D’ Force Train 1’.
The three British were Air Force, Cummings, Simpson and Willey they were all attached to Group 4 with Simpson and Willey eventually being part of an Anti Malarial Unit at Tha Khanun.
